St Lukes Primary is trialling our first school tumbler (aka in-vessle) composter as part of their work to tackle food waste.
This has been kindly supplied by Michael from the Compost Club.
Tumbler composters compost food in about 6 weeks and can even compost cooked vegetables and potentially all food waste.
We’re trialling this system at St Lukes, and if successful, hope to introduce into more schools.
