Smarter Uniforms is expanding its second hand school uniform project to include football kits and sports shoes.
They aim to help create access for more children to get into football while keeping good quality second-hand uniforms in use for longer. Their new dedicated sports page makes it possible for parents and local clubs to buy and sell their outgrown football kits and sports shoes to other local families

According to Recycle Now, around 49% of all unwanted textiles get thrown in the rubbish bin each year. That’s around 35 items, per person, per year.
This year Smarter Uniforms have saved Brighton families £12,800 and prevented 1300 pieces of uniform from ending up in landfill.
