Nature connection and outdoor learning are key elements of Our City Our World.
This day aims to:
- Share simple activities and techniques to enable all teachers to take learning outside in all curriculum areas
- Consider how school grounds can be developed to be inspiring places for learning
- Provide a framework to incorporate outdoor learning in curriculum planning
The morning will be an outdoor exploratory session in the inspiring school grounds at Moulsecoomb Primary School.
The afternoon will include an opportunity to find out more about the National Education Nature Park and look at resources and planning.
We’ll be joined by Mike from Sussex Wildlife Trust and Emma from South Downs National Park.
Please bring lunch, water, clothes for all weather, your medium term plans for this term and a laptop if you have one.
