Benfield Primary started this term with a biodiversity themed Our City Our World launch.
Children and staff wore green and each class had a biodiversity theme to explore throughout the day (minibeasts, birds, plants, trees, pond, butterflies, bees).
Although their grounds are small, they had plenty of outdoor spaces to explore and they were able to increase the habitat for pollinators by preparing ground ready to sow a meadow.
With each child in the school planting a sunflower seed, we look forward to a dazzling display of flowers, and plenty of pollinator action, later this term.
